Random shots

There's no story or event tying these pics together. They're just some random shots we've taken recently that are pretty cute...or at least we think so.

And finally, a spring family portrait...

Two Months!

Henry turned two months old on St. Patrick's day, meaning that his lifespan has now doubled the term of President William Henry Harrison. Of course, he wore green (dinosaurs) and was kissed many times in spite of not being Irish.

As a two-month old, one of the things Henry enjoys most is spending time outside with his mom and sisters--usually on his Baby Einstein play mat...

Kentucky Waterfall

This may be news to many of you because most of our pictures show Henry only from the front, where Henry is all business. But in the back? It's party time.
That's right, Henry is rockin' a mullet. No matter what you call it (Tennessee Top Hat, Alabama Shag, Canadian Passport, Hockey Hair, Beaver Paddle, Mud Flap, Neck Blanket, Shorty Longback (or Sho-Lo), Soccer Rocker, Yep-Nope, or Missouri Compromise), Henry has it. I'm sure the rest of his hair will come in fairly soon and provide some much-needed company to the already-arrived hair on the back of his head. But until then, we think Henry is in good hairdo company...

No Crying in Baseball

Last weekend's weather was so nice, we decided it was time for Henry to take in his first baseball game. So we headed for Oxford to see Ole Miss take on UCLA. It was the first time Henry has been able to spend time outside in short sleeves and without being bundled up for winter. He seemed to have a great time: every time the crowd cheered, he grinned. After a quick pit stop for a bottle we headed back to Gran Gran and Pop's house to get ready to leave...

...but not before Henry got to play in Pop's lap. Which he obviously enjoyed very much! Whether it was with Pop or at him, that was the most Henry has ever laughed.

The Bumbo Seat

Now that Henry has gotten pretty good at holding his head up, he has graduated to this nifty little invention: the Bumbo Seat. It's supposed to be good for teaching him to sit up straight and for his posture, but he just likes it because it lets him sit between us at the breakfast table.

Meeting the Last Un-met Cousins

Last weekend, Henry made his first journey outside of Mississippi. In fact, he traveled to four states in one day on his way to St. Louis for Allie Weilansky's Bat Mitzvah. Once there, he finally got to meet his cousins Emeline, Lexie and Natalie and his Uncle Kevin. He was excited to see them and they were very excited to meet him. It looks like Henry will have his choice of babysitters--as you can see from these pictures, all three sisters have the touch...
