Last month, we flew to Las Vegas to visit family, including Grandma Sylvia, who we don't get to see nearly as much as we'd like. Thanks to every snack and electronic device under the sun, we survived the four-and-a half hour flight and had a great trip...
No trip to Vegas is complete without a stop at In-N-Out Burger.
It was great to see Claire get to spend some time with her Great Grandma Sylvia.
Cross this one off the bucket list -- Henry got to ride in Uncle Donnie's convertible! I think he ranked it right up there with (very carefully) touching a real cactus...
We also got to meet for the first time our cousin Sarah, who lives in Sacramento but met us in Vegas with her mom (Alexis's cousin, Jenny). The three really hit it off over popsicles, bubbles and Legos.
* Granted, these pictures don't tell the story of a typical trip to Vegas. But Alexis and I did have our own adventure on the Strip, which involved an unsolicited and very surprising gratis upgrade to a "penthouse" suite at the Aria, and all of the warmed toilet seats (with bidet), remote-control blackout shades, steam showers, bubble-jet tubs, turn-down-service chocolates, robes, slippers, three TVs, VIP refreshment rooms, and amazing views that go with it. We just forgot our camera for that part.
